We welcome Second Graders through Adults!
Yamaha's Group Music Education has been available in the US for nearly 75 years, and our center was the first in the Eastern US region. For those below second grade, we recommend our group lessons from that set the tone for a sueccessful future of private instruction. Please find more information in our group class section.
Private lessons provide focused, one-on-one instruction, while guiding students to develop their unique talents at their own pace. Lessons establish a solid foundation in theory, repertoire and polished technique. Students are exposed to a variety of musical concepts and skills while being inspired to achieve their goals. Each student is paired with a faculty member who assesses needs and guides students toward achieving their goals.
Scheduling & Tuition
Private lessons are offered in 30, 45, and 60 minute durations.
Trial lessons are discounted 50% off the regular lesson rates.
Tuition is due the first day of each month, and charged through our monthly payment system
(credit card on file required)
Any cancellations must be notified at least 24 hours in advance in order for us to provide a make-up lesson.
Private lessons continue year-round.

Faculty
Our faculty are highly-successful, experienced and caring musicians and teachers. As graduates from some of the most prestigious universities, they possess years of teaching experience and enjoy sharing their love of music and education with our students.
Performance Opportunities
We offer a variety of performance opportunities to our students to encourage their growth as artists, develop their self-confidence, and learn the art of performance in a positive and encouraging atmosphere.

LCM Assessments & Certification
The London College of Music Examination Program provides a recognized national standard of musical success through an effectively sequenced course of study from beginner to advanced levels. The LCM inspires excellence through individual student examinations and allows students to celebrate accomplishments and track their progress with others across the country. Yamaha Music Conservatory is a representative of and an examination center for the LCM program. Candidates have the option of sitting for their appropriate exam. Interested students can start by discussing it with their teacher!
